last week saw me shoot my last wedding of 2011.
The ceremony was at a lovely little church in Kesgrave, near to Ipswich, with the reception at Seckford Hall, which offers a wonderful setting, filled with character.
This was my third wedding of 2011 and is usually the maximum number I shoot in a year. I know it may seem a little strange, but by keeping the numbers quite low, it means I can select the couples I feel I can work with. For me, it is really important to feel I can get on with the couples and build an understanding with them, after all, I spend a lot of time with them before, during and after the day!
While I was at uni and throughout my younger years (a distant memory now!) I worked with some great social photographers, but the underlying issue was, that they got to dislike photographing weddings and I was determined that I didn’t ever want to get in that position.
I find photographing a wedding such a buzz! Of course it’s stressful, but it’s wonderful to witness two lovely people who love each other, share some special moments together.
My latest clients, Mark and Amanda, were a complete pleasure to work with.. relaxed and very loving.
A few images from their wedding are below.. the book bound proof album is shortly on the way to them.. I’m sure they will love it!
