Last week I was shooting work for one of my clients around Kings Lynn and Rutland and although the brief was quite tight in certain ways, it did offer me some flexibility.
Below are a few of the images which are slightly more scenic and featured some nice lighting. One of my favorites is the shot of Palm Paper in Kings Lynn. The company wanted shots to demonstrate both the raw beauty of this area of Norfolk, but still retain a slight industrial development.
I managed to grab this image after arriving at the factory at 6:20am. Not being familiar with the area, I pulled up, studied an OS map and Google maps on my phone and thought the best area would be from across the river. A slight problem. It appears the once well trodden Public Footpath was no more – however after climbing over some fences I managed to get where I wanted, setting the tripod up, grabbing the flask of coffee and waiting for the light.
I will be uploading a gorgeous late evening scene which I also shot of the Palm Paper factory in the coming days.
