When a job comes in for work on the Norfolk Broads it is usually a pleasant experience, nice weather and usually fairly warm (even in March) so when I woke up this morning and saw the snow laying on the ground, I knew it was nice for thermals and plenty of lens clothes!
Today was the launch of the new Broads Authority boat ‘Spirit of Breydon’ which has seen a 115k investment in the rather fine vessel (that’s sailing speak I believe!)
The presentation and ‘cutting of the ribbon’ took place on the dock while a blizzard was underway! Not great for posed pictures.
Thankfully we got a good 30min journey out on the water to really get a feel for the boat, and wow what fun it was! fast & very nimble.
With the weather turning, blue clouds appeared for a whole 3 mins – several shots later and the good ole snow returned!
