Two weeks ago I paid a visit to IBTC – the International Boatbuilding Training College on the shores of Lake Lothing to work on a magazine feature.
I spent a fascinating afternoon, watching, learning and becoming somewhat engrossed in the wonderful techniques on show as well as enjoying the wonderful smell that only wood produces.
IBTC is open daily and welcomes visitors – pop along, it’s a fascinating place and a joy to see work on some of the heritage boats from the Broads.
